Cuphead Inkwell Isle 1 Walkthrough

         Cuphead is a fun run n gun video game and I have taken the liberty to make a guide of the first area. The game starts off as a menu with cuphead and mugman. You press any button or key and it opens up a menu to pick a save file. If you created a new save file it would create a new game show a book and when you press A, X, or Z (if using basic controls) it opens up the book and you flip through the pages until the book ends. when you begin your in elder kettles house and you talk to him and he gives you the power to shoot bullets out of your finger. in his house you can find a tutorial, go through the tutorial and at the end grab the coin. when you leave elder kettles house go and talk to a guy with an apple head, he'll give you 3 coins. After that, I would suggest you go fight your first boss which I suggest you do is the root pack it's in a farm patch just below where you find apple-head. always fight bosses on normal if you want to progress the story. when you beat a boss it pops up Knockout. after you beat the root pack go and fight goopy Le grande, he's right above the area where you fin the root pack in a tinted tree. After you beat goopy Le grande go down to the shop and buy spread shot. after you buy spread shot I would go to forest follies which is a run n gun level and there are 5 coins in the level. after you beat the run n gun I suggest you go across the bridge and down then defeat the mausoleum for the super and also the ghosts in there can only be parried and they can't hurt you. after you beat the mausoleum go back to the shop and buy the heart charm and equip it. then go up the stairs next to goopy Le grande and do the airplane blueprints to unlock Hilda berg and then fight her. After you beat Hilda berg go down the stairs and go over to the next run and gun. When you complete the run and gun go and fight Cagney carnation, he is located on the right side of the stairs near Hilda berg. After beating Hilda berg go buy roundabout. When you buy roundabout go down to where the root pack is and go down to a ship and fight Ribby and Croaks, the final boss of Inkwell Isle 1. Before you fight the boss replace either spread or peashooter with roundabout. After beating Ribby and Croaks, go back to Cagney carnation and go to the trees next to him and get the coin in the trees. After you get the coin go to Cagney carnation and go down the stairs to the dice house talk to king dice then go the next isle.
